Mascu - Fuck

A performance about how hegemonic masculinity restricts and limits personal freedom.

Moe Mustafa confronts his past and challenges a masculine society through belly dance, drawing inspiration from iconic Egyptian dancers such as Suhair Zaki and Samia Gamal, while weaving sexuality, desire, and moaning into the performance.

The piece unfolds as a series of monologues that reflect on growing up gay, experiences of rejection, the weight of parental influence, and the vulnerability of failed relationships. Mascu-Fuck is both defiance and release, an intimate confrontation with masculinity and its fractures.
